They grow up so quickly

Exactly one year ago today I emerged from the shelter of corporate life and launched my business - Red Road. As you can see from the picture, Truffle joined me for the celebrations earlier today.

What an experience it’s been – I’ve learnt a lot about myself and about other people. Firstly, a big thank you to the clients who put their faith in me and said Yes. Equal first, a big thank you to my wife who has had to put up with the various mutterings (explosions?) that have accompanied my attempts to master IT, a new mobile, accountancy, insurance and all the other things that the self-employed have to master.  

Many people said that the business would evolve from the original proposition. And indeed it has. What started as Consultancy has developed into Coaching, Mentoring & Consultancy. All under the umbrella of Growth.

Am looking forward to helping people and businesses grow and develop in Year 2. Am starting by taking the rest of this week off to recharge the batteries. If only I could find someone to sign off my holiday form…
