Bonding

I just spent a day with my wonderful colleagues on the i-coach academy course – our final module before the coaching benchmarking day in April. It was only the sixth day we’ve spent together over the course of 5 months, yet anyone watching us would have assumed we’d known each other for years.

We’re from a mix of backgrounds and experiences – from the armed forces to international peacekeeping, from marketing to mediation, with backgrounds growing up in Germany and Belgium and the UK.  

Outside of the modules we’re in pretty much daily correspondence on What’s app, supporting each other’s learning and sharing coaching experiences. Based on something someone said on our first day, we call ourselves the Ninja-Fairy Coaches.

At a time like this, it’s really beneficial to have strong support networks and to know people who can restore your faith in humanity.
